Abstract

The Progressive Student Leadership Exchange was founded in 1993 to battle the anti-gay rights initiatives in Idaho and Oregon. This summer a group from PSLx is in Maine to raise money for Maine Won't Discriminate, the organization fighting the referendum to limit the Maine Human Rights Act. Carolyn Cosby, the leader of Concerned Maine Families, charged that MWD lacks credibility because of their use of people from outside of Maine.
