The new Loring Development Authority, managed by Brian Hamel, now operates almost twenty businesses on the former Loring Air Force Base. The Loring Commerce Center has already replaced just about every civilian job lost when the base closed, and its biggest challenge is no longer finding jobs but finding employees.
