Abstract

Feature article on Migis Lodge on Sebago Lake, which is one of the oldest resorts in Maine. The lodge's 31 lake-view cottages are spread throughout the resort's 100 wooded acres, offering privacy and quiet. Tim Porta, who has owned the lodge since 1978, when he purchased it from his parents who had owned it since 1968, asserts tradition is the mainstay of the lodge, which has been in continual operation since 1916.
