Abstract

"Dining Down East" piece on Moody's Diner, the landmark thirties-style diner on Route 1 in Waldoboro famous for its home-cooked meals at reasonable prices. Nancy Moody Genthner is one of thirty-one family members, descendents from founders Percy and Bertha Moody, currently involved in day-to-day operations. The diner has become an obligatory destination for many visitors to Maine.
