Abstract
"Making It In Maine" about Lamplighters in Bridgton, which was founded by Jon Allen after he sustained a back injury in the mid-1980s. Located on Route 302, Lamplighters offers hand-crafted oil and electric lamps modeled after the streetlights and barn lanters of an earlier time. Allen employees one part-time employee who cuts the pieces, all of which Allen personally assembles. The lamps sell for $160 to $600 dollars.
