Abstract

"Dining Down East" piece on the Hurricane restaurant in Perkins Cove in Ogunquit, owned by Kennebunk native Brooks MacDonald, 46, and his wife, Luanne, since 1991. The MacDonalds bought the restaurant from the small Horsefeathers chain and upgraded it to their own standards and vision. Brooks MacDonald is the co-author, with Martha Griffin of the Kennebunkport Inn, of the cookbook "Lobster Tales."
