Abstract
"Along the Waterfront" piece about Corliss Holland, of Belfast, who builds and races fast lobsterboats. Corliss is heading west to San Diego next month to the international America's Cup race. Corliss won't be sailing for the America's Cup, but he will be taking his famed lobsterboat champion, Red Baron, to be used as a support boat for the Maine-based Pact 95 America's Cup team, which is a strong contender to win the right to represent the United States this year. Shipping the Red Baron to San Diego to show the flag for Maine boatbuilders at the cup races was the idea of Jon Johansen, who has been soliciting funding, estimated at $20,000, for the trip.
