Abstract

"Making It In Maine," piece on Paul Chartrand and his Rockland-based company, Paul Chartrand Imports, which specializes in wines made from organically grown grapes. From 1979 through 1981, he was director of the Common Ground Fair and then spent a year in France working on organic farms. Last year he moved more than half a million dollars in wine, and business in the first half of this year was up 50 percent.
