Abstract

Lengthy article about the Maine Outdoor Adverture Club, headed by President Carey Kish. The club, founded about 10 years ago, is a wildly successful outing club, which has more than doubled in size since December of 1996, when the membeship stood at 283 members. Kish notes that the club has an event scheduled for virtually everyday of the month, and that the average member is a professional between the ages of twenty and fifty, who hails from the Portland area.
