Abstract

Master Maine Guide Greg Drummond of Highland Plantation demonstrates four techniques used to attract a moose in rutting season: "paddle whacking,""coffee call," and "birchbark serenade" (imitating the sound of a bull hitting its rack against a tree, the sound of a bull bellow, and the sound of a cow bellow, respectively ), and "antler scrape."
