Abstract

"North by East" piece with a profile of a leading tractor rehabiliatator, Don Clough of West Gardiner. Clough made an exception to his policy of not working for other people when he was asked by the Florida-based World Golf Hall of Fame to find and restore a 1922 Fordson tractor for golf legend Arnold Palmer. Clough also owned and flew one of the first helicopters in central Maine. Clough's collection includes a Fordson from every year the tractor was built between 1918 and 1922.
