Abstract

Landscaper Gregory Moore helped Helen Wisdom create a cottage garden over a period of 20 years at the tip of Pleasant Point in Cushing. Moore also transformed Wisdom's boxy house into Merry Wisdom Cottage, set in the lush garden shaped like a Celtic cross. Moore and his wife Kathleen Starrs own Hands and Knees Gardens and enjoy collaborating with Wisdom, who battled cancer last summer. She is now cancer-free and says watching her garden bloom helped her heal.
