Abstract
"What's in a Picture?" piece with some history of the Great Northern Paper Company mill in Millinocket and a description and 1947 photo of a specially designed side-dumping railroad car. Anchored to a lift, the car quickly unloaded logs into the river below. The last log drive in Maine was held in 1976.
