Abstract

Profile of sculptor Pandora LaCasse, whose elegant, abstract LED "light forms" illuminate Portland during the holiday season. She created her first pieces for the Portland Downtown District in 1998, and now the organization budgets $40,000 a year for LaCasse's ever-changing light exhibition. She also designed the Northern Lights display for L.L. Bean in Freeport.
