Abstract
Profile of Eric Hopkins, 60, well-known painter and glass artist with deep roots in Maine. Hopkins has spent much of his life in the Penobscot Bay area and on North Haven island and much of his art work depicts islands, fish, and forms inspired by the ocean and the coast. Hopkins' art works often demonstrate unique aerial perspectives, images that reflect the curvature of the Earth when viewed from above, and energetic, curving brush strokes.
