Abstract

"Making it in Maine" piece about the Oxbow Brewing Company in Newcastle. The state's first farmhouse brewery was founded in 2011 by Geoff Masland and Tim Adams. They brew saisons, country ales that Belgian farmers used to drink as thirst quenchers in the summer. Only two years old, Oxbow already has attracted devoted followers and is served in bars and restaurants from Kittery to Camden.
