Abstract

"Along the Waterfront." New Zealander Arch Davis, who now lives in Morrill, built the skiff Penobscot 14 for both sailing and rowing. He is working on plans to build a skiff for amateurs. Other boats described in this article include a powerboat seen by Robert Stevens and boats that Herb Smith uses to travel the South Seas. Also described is Points East,a new magazine devoted to boating in the Gulf of Maine, edited by Andrew Marsters.
