Abstract

Bobby and Ruth Ives founded the Carpenter's Boat Shop forty years ago as a Christian ministry centered on doing. The new director, Kim Hoare, along with Bobby Ives, have maintained the shop's Christian tradition while ensuring openness to all and urging racial and gender equality and tolerance.
