Abstract
Brief piece about a new retail business in Old Town, Dawnland Handmade Creations, a gift shop featuring works by artists and makers from the four Wabanaki nations. The shop is the brainchild of Maria Girouard, herself a member of the Penobscot Nation and a painter and advocate and radio host, among other jobs.
