Over the course of 72 years, Donna Loring has served in the Women's Army Corps, was appointed chief of police of the Penobscot Nation, and was elected as the Penobscot Nation's representative to the Maine legislature. She currently broadcasts a radio show focusing on the question of Wabanaki sovereignty.
