Abstract

Brief discussion of the results of two recent studies on Maine bird populations: the Maine Bird Atlas, which collected data from citizen volunteers over the course of five years and which will eventually be published in book form; and the 30-Year Bird Project, the follow-up to a project researching the effects of commercial forestry on bird populations.
