Abstract
A Maine Maritime Academy student recounts the life of Don Higgins, who was a member of MMA’s food service team, veteran of the US Navy, former US Postal worker and T/V State of Maine employee. The author bears witness and reflects on the solemn occasion of fulfilling Mr. Higgins’ wish to be buried at sea.
