The Schoodic Story
The Schoodic peninsula was home to the U.S. Navy's listening station. After the navy base closed in 2001, the property was taken over by what has become known as the Schoodic Institute, the nonprofit partner to the National Park Service that focuses on research into complex environmental challenges.
