Abstract

Maine Chamber and Business Alliance President Dana Connors addressed the Portland Community Chamber of Commerce at its June annual meeting. Connors stressed aptitude, awareness, alliances, and attitude as the four building blocks of Maine's economic future. He supports regional economic collaboration with New Hampshire and Vermont. Maine has done well with its small businesses and still has potential for an internationally significant cargo port along the coast.
