Abstract

"Business Maine: Southern" piece reporting that Westbrook-based biotech firm Idexx recently received federal approval for its test that identifies mad cow disease in livestock. Idexx's testing product delivers results in four to five hours, rather than the four days it takes for currently approved tests to produce results.
