Abstract

"Newsworthy" piece profiling Leo Murphy, 75, who will be presented with the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce's Lifetime Achievement Award on Jan. 24. Since 1959, Murphy has been funeral director at the Plummer Funeral Home in Augusta and has a long record of community service. He knew from the age of eight that funerals would be his life's work.
