Abstract

"Newsworthy" piece with a profile of Janet Yancey-Wrona, 40, recently named Maine's director of innovation, a new position created by the state Department of Economic and Community Development. She worked as a research scientist at Idexx Laboratories in Westbrook and is continuing as director of the Maine Technology Institute until her replacement is found. She is a strong advocate for research and development investment in the state.
