Abstract

"Building & real estate" supplement piece on the raft of new construction on Maine campuses, which is spurred by the competitive college market and the need to attract students. Campus projects tend to be less cyclical than commercial construction and can be more challenging. With details on the bid process at both private and public colleges and on specific projects at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, the University of Southern Maine, and the University of Maine at Presque Isle, with a list of ongoing and recently completed campus construction projects.
