From the from the largestto the smallest, the banks are: Portland-based Banknorth NA, Bangor Savings Bank, Camden National Bank, Gardiner Savings Institution, Norway Savings Bank, Bar Harbor Banking and Trust Co., Kennebunk-based Ocean National Bank, Kennebunk Savings Bank, The First National Bank of Damariscotta, Gorham Savings Bank, Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution, Auburn-based Northeast Bank FSB, Lewiston-based Androscoggin Savings Bank, Augusta-based Kennebec Savings Bank, and Machias Savings Bank. Assets range from $26,846,850 to $448,131. Banknorth has more in assets than all the other banks combined.
