Abstract

"From the Ground Up" piece predicting that the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina will hurt the Maine construction industry. The storm disrupted petroleum refining operations, curtailed shipments of building materials via the Gulf of Mexico, and created a desperate need that will consume an inordinate amount of supplies, equipment and personnel for years to come.
