Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on how, after a 37 percent increase in Maine exports from 2000 to 2004, exports through October were 9.2 percent lower than for the same period last year. In some sectors--pulp and paper, wood products, and industrial machinery--exports were up. Officials say export diversification is key.
