Abstract

"From the Ground Up" piece on the Maine Public Utility Commission's Efficiency Maine programs. The business program is on its way to becoming standard industry practice for some contractors, as green construction emerges as one of the biggest drivers in today's market. Besides rebates and free consulting services, Efficiency Maine offers up to 75 percent of the incremental equipment cost for new construction, major renovations, and replacement of failed equipment.
