Abstract

Old Orchard Beach developer Tim Swenson is selling condominiums at his recently completed Grand Victorian project, but residents voted down the sale of a parcel of city land Swenson needed to build a hotel. The structure would have been the tallest building in town. Town Manager Jim Thomas, an aggressive advocate for development, says the town is reinventing itself and will continue to change.
