Abstract

Fleet Bank's new "PC Banking" service allows customers to access their accounts from a home computer. The system eliminates the need to reconcile monthly statements, and allows customers to have Fleet pay their bills through electronic transfer or automatically-generated mailed checks. Key Bank hasn't decided whether to undertake a similar plan.
