Abstract

"Focus on Safety & Security" piece on Fred and Cynthia Smith and their cyber-security firm ANGEL Secure Networks in Orono. They have been developing DASH anti-tampering software for the departments of Defense and Homeland Security and the U.S. Air Force, among others. The couple relocated from Massachusetts to the Target Technology Center at UMaine because they could more easily find professors to work with.
