Abstract

"Minding Your Business" column on National Marine Fisheries Service proposals to restrict lobstering gear for the purpose of protecting the endangered right whale. John Cole calls the proposals "stupid and unjust," and recommends enhanced marine technology to detect the 300 or so right whales as they migrate off the Maine coast.
