Abstract

"Focus York County" piece on William Arthur Inc., a West Kennebunk-based printer and stationery company founded in 1949, and its digital strategies and plans for growth. The company is keeping up-to-date through the use of social media and the latest digital equipment. After the economic downturn in 2008 and 2009 led to reduced sales and staff, William Arthur implemented a digital strategy that included the addition of new employees, addressing the digital photo demand, updating their web site with online shopping capability, establishing a presence on social media sites, and purchasing digital equipment and software totaling $1 million.
