Abstract

Maine Technology Institute recently introduced TechStart, a new financing program aimed at helping new entrepreneurs fund technology startups. This program is part of MTI's restructured Business Innovation Funding Program which requires those who are selected from a competitive field of applicants to have 1:1 matching funds and to have a business that falls within one of Maine's seven technology clusters. MTI is also offering a new business development matching grant to help draw more businesses to Maine.
