Biddeford-based furniture company, Artas Designs, specializes in creating utilitarian furniture and fixtures from salvaged wood, steel and other materials from old aircraft hangars and barns. The history of how this business came to be, how it has been growing, and frustrations the owners have had to deal with are presented.
