Abstract
The author relates the story Monica Wood tells when she did her book tour for "We Were the Kennedys," which tells the story of life in a mill town as manufacturing lessens and jobs are lost. The story appears to be universal to many people whose life revolved around once robust manufacturing or coal mining communities.
