Abstract

The twenty largest transportation projects, ranked by estimated cost as of October 2016 are listed. Also included are contractor name and start and estimated end date. The top five projects, listed in descending order are the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge replacement in Portsmouth, NH, the Reconstruction of the downtown breakwater in Eastport, the viaduct bridge rehabilitation in Bath, the preliminary engineering for future highway construction in York, and the Penobscot River bridge replacement on the Howland/Enfield town line.
