Abstract

Integrated product design, development and device manufacturing company, Enercon, is featured. The Gray-based company was founded in 1980 by Ron Mayotte and Walter Hebold and has seen double-digit growth since 2009 and specializes in niche products, such as Livi, an automated medicine dispenser machine. It has received approval to expand from its current 35,00 square-foot building to 69,000 square feet. Other high-tech Maine companies mentioned in the article include Kepware Technologies in Portland and Fiber Materials Inc.in Biddeford. [images]
