Abstract

Following a two-year study, TD Bank is increasing its focus on small business lending in New England and upstate New York. Two small business specialists will be hired in Maine. Small businesses are responsible for three-fifths of the private workforce in the state and the study indicated small businesses are looking for more support. Small businesses are strong drivers for local economies.
