Abstract
"art" piece featuring an interview in question-and-answer format with Mark Bessire, director and curator at Bates College Museum of Art. Bates College Museum of Art and the Bowdoin College Museum of Art will host a conference on July 24-25 dedicated to issues facing curators of contemporary art. Bessire discusses the conference, trends in contemporary curatorial practice and local institutional collaborations.
