Abstract

"Politics and Other Mistakes" piece listing this year's recipients of the Gaggie award, given to politicians who demonstrate bizarre or unusual behavior. Among the winners are State Senate candidate Julia St. James of Hartford, who had her campaigning interrupted by her arrest for felony cultivation and trafficking in marijuana. In the 2nd District U.S. House of Representatives race, Republican challenger Brian Hamel gets an award for his television commercial which looked like a "promo for a new sitcom."
