Abstract
Article on Equality Maine, the organization formerly known as the Maine Lesbian Gay Political Alliance, with a focus on its new president, Rodney Mondor. Mondor, 37, is also the coordinator for professional life development at the University of Southern Maine, and this year's recipient of the Mary Rines Thompson Award for Lifetime Achievement. With an interview in question-and-answer format with Mondor and Betsy Smith, executive director of Equality Maine. Mondor and Smith discuss upcoming legislative and educational efforts.
