Abstract

"This Just In" piece on a controversial press release last week by Oliver Wolf, a Bates College student and communications director of the Maine College Republicans. The release reported that the Bowdoin College Student Government had endorsed the Academic Bill of Rights, a bill that protects conservative views on campus. Frank Chi, president of the Bowdoin College Democrats, says the release is a blatant lie. The Bowdoin College Student Government actually rejected the bill on February 1 by a vote of 19 to 1.
