Abstract
"This Just In" piece on Becky FitzPatrick, a Portland cut-paper artist, who was contacted by designers at Ralph Lauren for a window display. FitzPatrick installed 600 paper birds above mannequins in the Ralph Lauren store's four main windows in New York City. The inspiration for the project was "The Wishing Room," a piece of installation art which had been shown at the Sacred and Profane festival on Peaks Island last fall.
