Abstract

"This Just In" piece on the redevelopment of the former Adams School on Munjoy Hill in Portland. Any successful reuse of the site will likely include some combination of housing and community space. On January 12, the nonprofit Community Building Collaborative (CBC), will host a forum to raise awareness and money for its proposal: a cooperative housing apartment complex-community center that would integrate green design and open space. The city expects that for-profit developers will also submit proposals.
