Abstract
"this just in" piece on "Rum-runners, Moonshiners, and Bootleggers," a two-hour special about the history of illicit beer and liquor in America produced by Boston-based Pinball Productions. The documentary will include a segment featuring historian Herb Adams, who will tell the story of Portland's Napoleon of Temperance, Neal Dow. The documentary will be aired on the History Channel on an as yet undetermined date.
